Sugar bowl

Handcrafted sugar bowl turned on the lathe and decorated with real strawberry leaves, picked in our garden.

The leaves are delicately applied to the still soft clay. I use one leaf for each decoration and this makes each cup unique.

After the first firing, the Strawberries are decorated with a brush and then immersed in transparent enamel. They are then subjected to a second firing that will make them waterproof and ready for food use. The ceramic mixture used is highly resistant and specific for tableware.

Nature is beauty, you just have to stop and look.

The Strawberry Sugar Bowls are approximately 9/10 cm high and contain 250/350 ml.

The photos published here are indicative of our production, often they are unique pieces because they are handmade and the production is a continuous becoming.
