Handcrafted cup worked on the lathe and decorated with real mallow leaves, collected in our garden.
The leaves are delicately applied to the still soft clay. I use one leaf for each decoration and this makes each cup unique.
After an initial firing, the Malve are decorated with a brush and then immersed in transparent enamel. They are then subjected to a second firing that will make them waterproof and ready for food use. The ceramic mixture used is highly resistant and specific for tableware.
Nature is beauty, you just have to stop and look.
The mallows are approximately 7/8 cm tall and contain 150/250 ml.
